It is that time again. Dog owners from all over the country descend a small Northern California town to boast about their pups. AKC championship, maybe? No. Obedience trials? Nope. How about an agility expo? Still no. These proud pooch owners want to let everyone know that they have the World’s Ugliest Dog.

This annual tradition draws some homely hounds, but the organizers say it is not about making anyone feel bad about their looks, but instead showing off the inner beauty of these dogs.
