You probably know the the German Shepherd wins first place in our heart here, but AKC says another breed holds the title of most popular dog breed in America. In recent years, the feisty French Bulldog has climbed from near obscurity to capture the top spot.

Golden Retrievers take the top spot regionally for us here in the PNW, according to the stats.
