From legendary boxer to world-renowned pitch-master, George Foreman was always a champion at what he did.
The former boxer passed away at age 76.
Foreman was a two-time world heavyweight champion and Olympic gold medalist who is regarded as one of the hardest punchers in boxing history. He was inducted into both the World Boxing Hall of Fame and the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
He parlayed his boxing fame into being a commercial pitchman, most notably for the “Foreman Grill.”
What some don’t know is he had a lifelong love for German Shepherds. He was an honorary Lifetime Member of USCA and was active in training his dogs in schutzhund.

His most famous dog was probably Daggo (also spelled Diago) who traveled around the world with the fighter. He even made an appearance at a press conference in Paris for the upcoming “Rumble in the Jungle” against Muhammad Ali. He later said that after he lost that fight, he lost all his friends except Daggo.
