This week was marked by sadness as we said goodbye to our old man, Zeus. Damn that cancer. I’ll post more on that later. To brighten our spirits, we took our two remaining pups out to Zoolights at the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington.

It is annual tradition as they light up the zoo in an amazing display of color and light. On special nights, you can also buy a ticket to get you and your dog in.

Most of the animals are out of sight since it is at night, although we did see a flock of penguins watching all the people walking by their enclosure. I imagine they were just waiting for someone to turn out the lights so they could go to sleep.
