Another stop at the Point Defiance Zoo introduces us to Herald the Dog.

The bronze likeness of Herald sits outside the Wild Wonders Outdoor Theater. Herald was a wildlife ambassador and helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for the conservation program. He passed away in 2024 at the age of sixteen.
