Former President Joe Biden has some new family members. He and wife, Dr. Jill Biden, adopted two black lab mix puppies. They were adopted from a rescue in Tennessee and delivered to the First Family in Delaware. They are named Scout and Boo.

The mixed breed pups came from the Rescue DOG and End of Life Sanctuary. A spokesperson said they were very excited about the high-profile adoption, but are excited about all their puppy placements.

The pups move into the family after the previous dogs, three German Shepherds, had several biting incidents, primarily with Secret Service agents. Although, now in retrospect, due to the suspicious (if not malicious) behavior of many in the agency, the dogs may have just been sending out warnings about nefarious agents. One GSD, Champ, passed away in 2021. The two younger German Shepherds, Major and Commander, were removed from the White House, then rehomed.
