I try not to post a lot of the canine-based articles I see on my news feed in a day. Some are too fluffy, many are too horrific. Today, though, two side-by-side stories showed the huge disparity between the way people treat their companion animals in this country in such dramatic fashion that I thought I would post them both. From our constant companions for whom we would do nearly anything, to a disposable piece of refuse that someone gave not a second thought, the dichotomy of how we treat America’s canines is illustrated below.
