They say if you want a go anywhere dog, you have to take them everywhere when they’re young. To help Basil become that well-rounded hound, we took advantage of the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium Dog Days of Summer.

You may remember, we took Ziggy and Emma on a similar adventure for Zoo Lights.

During summer months, the zoo offers special days when you can buy a pass for your pup.

We went on a Thursday afternoon (9/24). It was one of the last days we would be able to make it.

We saw several other dogs and lots of animals. Some areas were shut off to dogs as is understandable. Emma and Basil were very well behaved. Basil was fascinated by the penquins.
